The 2000's was a decade wich people remember for many reasons. In general there were difficult times for instance, there was the beginig of the global financial and economical crisis. It began the Irak War and also the 11-S the twin towers were destroyed by Al-Qaeda and also the Euro began circulating among EU countries. However, there were the wars of Afganistán, Libán and Iraq were Sadam Hussein was executed.
In the world of music, there was the death of Michael Jackson. In cinemas, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Spiderman and The Chronicles of Narnia, or the style of the films of The Day After Tomorrow, The War of the Worlds and V for Vendetta were a big hit. All special effects are computer-generated. The shooting in digital system have not yet been fully implemented. Fashions were bright and interesting - The 2000's are often described as a "mash-up" decade, where trends saw the fusion of previous styles, global and ethnic clothing, as well as the fashions of numerous music-based subcultures, especially indie pop. Many in the industry have noted the lack of divide between the 1990s and early-2000s due to the continued popularity of minimalist fashion among young people of both sexes. For the most part, the mid-late 2000s did not have one particular style but recycled vintage clothing styles form the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and 1980s.
By the end of the decade, the world was a different place. Inventions such as the Microsoft operating system, the creation of Facebook and Youtube, the Wikipedia changed people's lives.
